Bayfield, Ontario is located on the shores of Lake Huron between Goderich and Grand Bend. Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park is definitely at the top of the list, when it comes to things to do in Bayfield. This gorgeous park sits on the edge of a bluff offering stunning views over Lake Huron. The park has plenty of benches and tables, making it a great spot for a picnic. Here you will also find a wooden staircase that leads down to the waters edge and the beach. If you’re not interested in venturing down to the beach, the views alone are worth a visit.
Bayfield Pier
The Bayfield Pier offers a lovely paved pathway out into the depths of Lake Huron. Given its location between the marina and main beach, the pier gives spectacular views of Lake Huron’s aqua waters. The pier also makes a great place to do some fishing.
Bayfield Beaches
On the shores of Bayfield, you’ll find many beautiful beaches to enjoy. The beaches are some of the finest in the area and are a big draw to the village. Beaches are sandy and allow swimming access, making them the perfect location for an afternoon.

Clan Gregor Square
Clan Gregor Square is located steps from Bayfield’s historic downtown. This park is home to a playground, splash pad and plenty of green space. During the summer months, you’ll find farmers markets and other events hosted in this park.
Historic Downtown
While being a small village, Bayfield has a bustling, historic downtown area. Downtown Bayfield makes you feel as if you’ve gone back in time with historic buildings and old time charm. You will find a variety of boutique type shops, restaurants and large outdoor patios. A stroll downtown is an experience in itself.
Marinas
Along with Lake Huron, Bayfield is also home to the Bayfield River. With an abundance of water access, Bayfield is a popular location for boating. In town, you will find two marinas, Bluewater Marina and Harbour Lights, allowing you to begin your adventures on the water.

Bayfield is a very relaxed village that, generally attracts slightly older clientele.
No riff- raff, like Grand Bend to the south.
Excellent coffee’s are served at “Shop Bike” located on the main street.
They roast and grind on-site and serve excellent coffee’s…worth a visit
